As the first statewide charter school incubator in the country, the Tennessee Charter School Incubator was launched with one purpose: to close the education achievement gap in Tennessee by supporting the creation of high-quality public charter schools in Memphis and Nashville.

Public charter schools are one of the best tools we have to ensure that low-income and minority children achieve at the same level as their peers, and Tennessee is fast becoming a nationally recognized leader in education reform and charter school growth. The Incubator is committed to supporting high-quality schools, educators and board members. We hope you will join the movement to help us close the achievement gap in Tennessee.
